Pediatric Cardiac Life Support
Prerequisite: Non-expired HCP Card Course Description: The Pediatric Advanced Life Support program consists of two 8-hour days designed for physicians, nurses and paramedics. This course provides information on how to recognize infant and children cardiopulmonary difficulties and if they may be at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest. You will learn strategies on prevention and how to stabilize patients in respiratory failure, shock, trauma and cardiac arrest. Our Class format is designed to maximize the participants hands on training, incorporating PALS critical concepts into usable information. Our goal is to provide the latest in PALS technology and teach you how to use it. Course is designed for pediatricians, RN’s, CRNA’s, EMT-P, Cardiologists, ER physicians, etc. A current Healthcare Provider card is required to participate. This course is designed the same way as the ACLS program. Your certification will be valid for 2 years. A study guide, ECG handbook, pretest and required manual (if purchased) will be mailed to all paid participants before the course. Materials Needed for
