Course Description: The Neonatal Advanced Life Support program is an 8-hour course designed to provide information and skills to allow quick assessment and management of neonates. The NALS is open to health care professionals who have the responsibility for caring for and resuscitating neonates. The course is a one day program consisting of lecture, practice stations and interactive sessions that integrate knowledge and skills into a clinically useful algorithm. Completion of the course includes: 1) Course attendance 2) Demonstration of knowledge and skill 3) Passing the written evaluation.
