Course Description:  The Fundamentals of Care Giving program is intended for caregivers in group homes, adult family homes, assisted living, retirement centers, and eventually to include home healthcare.  This course teaches client care, such as vital signs, bathing, dressing, transferring, preparing meals, etc.  The program is designed for lay persons and Nursing Assistants – Registered (NARs).

Bring a pen or pencil, a note pad, and a lunch (if needed).

Additional Information:

This program is offered before (NUR-D) every 3 months.  This program is also a prerequisite for the (NUR-D) program.
