Heartsaver AED for Adult, Child, & Infant
Prerequisite: None Course Description: The Heartsaver AED for Adult, Child, & Infant program consists of CPR component and instruction surrounding AED use for offices, companies and instructors who have purchased an AED and want to train people how to use it. The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is an important device used in emergency cardiovascular care. This program teaches the basic technique of adult CPR and use of the AED. Additional information includes use of barrier devices, giving first aid for choking patients and recognizing the signs of a heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and foreign body airway obstruction.
