12 Lead Electrocardiogram II
Prerequisite: Must complete ‘12 Lead Electrocardiogram I’ (12ECG1) program. Course Description: The 12 Lead Electrocardiogram II program is a 16-hour course that will enable students to recognize the major life-threatening rhythms, basic understanding of the rules and mechanisms of common arrhythmias according to pacemaker sites, and ability to interpret arrhythmias. Advanced 12 Lead ECG provides views from 12 different angles. Multiple views provide information including recognition of bundle branch blocks, ST segment and T wave changes associated with myo cardial ischemia, injury and infraction. Also, this program will teach you identification of ECG changes associated with certain medications and electrolyte imbalances. Materials Needed for
