Prerequisite: Non-expired BLS-I Card (Unless granted an extension by the BLS Coordinator).

Course Description: The Basic Life Support & AED – Instructor Renewal program is a 7-hour course that reviews the teaching skills of instructors. A non-expired AHA BLS / AED Instructor card is required. Your certification will be valid for 2 years.

Additional Information:

Renewals are not required to be monitored on a separate day. They must be able to show they’ve taught 4 courses in the last 2 years if not registered with us as a Basic Life Support - Training Center Faculty (TCF).
