Prerequisite: Non-expired HCP Card and ACLS-I Card with 2 years experience.

Course Description: The ACLS – Instructor Renewal program is an 8-hour course designed for individuals proficient in ACLS. This program is held on the second day of the ACLS – Instructor program. Completion of this course will enable participants to teach ACLS Provider courses. Instructor candidates must be current ACLS providers with excellent provider skills. The emphasis of the program will be on teaching methodology. Each student will receive a teaching assignment and during the course will demonstrate and have those teaching skills evaluated. Your certification will be valid for 2 years.
