COLLEGE OF MEDICAL TRAINING

     College of Medical Training’s (CoMT) parent company Medical Training Consultants Inc (MTCI). was founded in 1996 in Tacoma, Washington.   MTCI started as a Community Training Center (CTC) for the American Heart Association and performed IV therapy for long term care centers supporting pharmaceutical services.  MTCI has grown into a facility servicing over 200 long term care centers through much of Western Washington and Northwestern Oregon.   MTCI has added a number of Hospitals, clinics and multiple pharmaceutical companies.  October 2000 MTCI was awarded a world wide GSA contract to sell Medical Equipment and provide numerous educational training programs to local, state and federal government entities.  Our American Heart Association designated Training Center became one of the largest training centers in our region servicing up to twelve hundred instructors and being awarded a plaque recognizing their great dedication for training skills to saving lives.  This brought us within the top ten by training over twenty five thousand participants in our region within a one year period.   In the year 2000 MTCI became recognized as Medical Training Consultants Institute servicing a greater need of the community by providing courses for nursing assistant’s and EMT’S.  In the year 2003, as our company continued to grow by bringing on more educational programs and meeting the needs of the healthcare professions, MTCI became the parent company of College of Medical Training. 

College of Medical Training continues to work with it parent company by supporting American Heart Association as a designated training center.  College of Medical Training continues to grow, bringing with it current and many new programs including Nursing Assistant, EMT, Paramedic Refresher, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, PHTLS, and is looking towards the future by adding a LPN program with a bridge to RN.   The founder of this company is a Registered Nurse recognizing the major shortage of trained personnel within the healthcare profession.  There hence the mission and the commitment of quality of the company.

- Training that will meet OSHA and State requirements.  Includes First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Bloodborne Pathogens, Super Sitter, IV Therapy, ECG and Cardiac Rhythms, Earthquakes/Tornadoes/Floods:  Some Were Prepared, First Aid Instructor, HIV Instructor, and others.  CoMT offers training and in-services at our training facility or your office or facility.  Please call about pricing and availability for this option.
